We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – HR & Administration to support end-to-end HR operations and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and office administration while fostering a compliant and employee-centric workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate the complete recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management.
  • Manage pre-joining formalities, onboarding, and induction programs.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment partners to fulfill hiring requirements.

HR Operations

  • Maintain employee records, personal files, leave records, attendance data, and HRIS updates.
  • Draft and issue offer letters, employment contracts, warning letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures.

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, LWF, and applicable labor laws.
  • Support internal and external audits and coordinate with compliance consultants.
  • Manage POSH policy implementation and committee coordination.

Payroll & Compensation Support

  • Compile payroll inputs and coordinate with finance teams and payroll vendors.
  • Handle TDS declarations, Form 16, reimbursements, and employee salary-related queries.
  • Assist in compensation benchmarking and CTC structuring.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Organize employee engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and team-building programs.
  • Address employee grievances with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
  • Support performance management processes and review cycles.

Exit Management

  • Manage resignation procedures, clearance processes, Full & Final settlements, and exit interviews.

Administration

  • Oversee office administration, procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
  • Provide employee travel support and administrative assistance.
  • Manage FRRO compliance and expatriate employee support requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory)
  • MBA in Human Resources (Mandatory)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, and HR operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and labor law compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting Structure

  • The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Department.
